Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the RKNova Technologies website or booking any of our services. By accessing our website or scheduling a service appointment, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use our website or services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer," "you," or "your") and RKNova Technologies, LLC ("RKNova," "we," "us," or "our"), a technology services company incorporated in the State of Texas, USA. By using our website, creating an account, or scheduling a service appointment, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement, and have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Services Provided

RKNova provides on-site technology support, installation, and handyman services for residential and small business customers. Our service catalog includes, but is not limited to, computer and printer setup and repair, WiFi and network installation, smart home device installation, audio and video setup, TV mounting, home security system installation, mobile device support, and general around-the-home technology assistance. Service availability is limited to our active coverage areas. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time with or without notice.

3. Bookings and Appointments

3.1 Scheduling: Appointments are requested online or by phone and are confirmed by RKNova via email. A booking is not guaranteed until you receive a confirmation message with a booking reference number.

3.2 Access to Premises: You are responsible for ensuring that a responsible adult (18+) is present at the service address for the duration of the appointment and that the technician has safe access to the areas requiring service.

3.3 Scope of Work: The technician will assess your specific situation upon arrival and provide an upfront price before any work begins. You must authorize the work in writing or verbally before the technician proceeds. Additional issues discovered during the visit that were not part of the original request will be quoted separately.

3.4 Cancellations and Rescheduling: You may cancel or reschedule without charge up to 24 hours before your appointment. Cancellations made within 24 hours may incur a $25 late-cancellation fee. No-shows are charged the full listed service price. Emergency exceptions may be granted at our discretion. See our full Cancellation Policy.

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1 Upfront Pricing: All prices displayed on our website are starting prices. The final price for any service is determined after the technician assesses your situation and you provide approval. No work is performed without your authorization.

4.2 Parts and Materials: If a service requires parts or materials (RAM, SSDs, cables, mounting hardware, etc.), those costs will be quoted separately and added to the service fee. You are not obligated to purchase parts from RKNova; however, we only warranty work performed with parts we source.

4.3 Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods displayed at checkout. Payment is due upon completion of service unless you hold an active prepaid membership plan.

4.4 Membership Plans: Members with prepaid plans receive priority scheduling, discounted labor rates, and complimentary diagnostics as described in their chosen membership tier. Membership terms are governed by the Membership page and any separate membership agreement you have executed.

5. Satisfaction Guarantee

RKNova offers a 30-day satisfaction guarantee on all services. If the specific problem we addressed recurs within 30 days of the original visit, we will return and re-perform the relevant work at no additional charge. This guarantee covers only the same issue treated in the original visit and does not extend to new, unrelated problems, damage caused by third parties or user error, or hardware failures unrelated to our work. 6. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to: (a) provide accurate information when booking; (b) ensure safe and unobstructed access to the work area; (c) back up important data before any service involving your computer or storage devices — RKNova is not responsible for data loss that occurs during or after a service visit; (d) not request technicians to perform illegal modifications to hardware or software; and (e) treat our technicians with courtesy and respect. We reserve the right to terminate a service visit and charge a cancellation fee if a technician is subjected to unsafe conditions or abusive behavior.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RKNova's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to a service visit is limited to the amount you paid for that specific service. RKNova is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some states do not allow limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the RKNova website — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, and software — is the exclusive property of RKNova Technologies or its content licensors and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any material from our website without our prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial use.

9. User Accounts

If you create an account on our website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@rknova.in if you suspect unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to: (a) use our website for unlawful purposes; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems; (c) transmit malware, spam, or harmful code; (d) scrape, crawl, or harvest data from our website without written permission; (e) impersonate any person or entity; (f) post or transmit content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes third-party rights.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RKNova Technologies, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and service technicians from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of our services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

12. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the services provided by RKNova that cannot be resolved informally within 30 days shall be submitted to binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration shall be conducted in Austin, Texas, or by video conference. The arbitrator's award shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. To the extent court proceedings are necessary, you consent to personal jurisdiction in the state and federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the revised Terms on our website with an updated "Last updated" date, and where required by law, by sending you an email notification. Your continued use of our services after the effective date of any revision constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and any separate membership or service agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and RKNova regarding our services and supersede all prior agreements.
