Cancellation & Refund Policy

At RKNova Technologies, we understand that plans change. This policy explains your options for cancelling or rescheduling service appointments, cancelling membership plans, and requesting refunds. We aim to be fair and transparent so you always know exactly where you stand.

1. Service Appointment Cancellations

1.1 Free Cancellation Window

You may cancel or reschedule a service appointment at no charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time. To cancel or reschedule:

1.2 Late Cancellations (Within 24 Hours)

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time may incur a $25 late-cancellation fee. This fee compensates the assigned technician for the reserved time block. The fee will be charged to your payment method on file.

1.3 No-Shows

If you are not present at the service address at the scheduled appointment time and we have not received a cancellation notice, the appointment will be marked a no-show and the full listed service price will be charged. A no-show does not forfeit your right to book future appointments, but a prepayment may be required.

1.4 Emergency Exceptions

We understand that genuine emergencies arise. If you need to cancel within the 24-hour window due to a documented medical emergency, a family crisis, extreme weather conditions, or another serious unexpected event, contact us as soon as possible. We will waive the late-cancellation fee at our discretion upon review of the circumstances. We simply ask that you notify us as early as you are able.

2. Technician-Initiated Cancellations

In the rare event that RKNova must cancel or reschedule your appointment due to technician availability, equipment issues, or other factors on our end, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer you the next available appointment at no additional charge. If we cancel within 2 hours of a scheduled appointment, we will apply a $20 service credit to your account as a courtesy.

3. Membership Plan Cancellations

3.1 How to Cancel

Membership plans may be cancelled at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting our support team. There is no cancellation fee for ending a membership.

3.2 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee (New Plans)

If you cancel a newly purchased or newly renewed membership plan within the first 30 calendar days, you are entitled to a full refund of the membership fee paid, provided you have not used more than one service appointment under the plan during that period. Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.

3.3 Cancellations After 30 Days

Cancellations submitted after the 30-day window will take effect at the end of your current billing period. Your membership benefits remain active through that date, and your plan will not auto-renew. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within an active billing period.

3.4 Prepaid Multi-Period Plans

Six-month, one-year, two-year, and three-year prepaid plans are non-refundable after the initial 30-day window. Upon cancellation, benefits remain active until the end of the prepaid term.

4. Service Refunds

4.1 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

Every RKNova service is backed by our 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If the specific issue we addressed recurs within 30 days of the original visit, we will return and re-perform the relevant work at no additional charge. If we are unable to resolve the issue after a follow-up visit, you are entitled to a full refund of the service fee paid for that appointment.

4.2 Refund Eligibility

A service refund may be issued when: (a) the same problem recurs within 30 days and a follow-up visit cannot resolve it; (b) work was charged for but not completed due to a technician error; or (c) you were charged incorrectly or more than the agreed price. Refunds are not issued for issues unrelated to the original service, damage caused by user error or third parties after the visit, or normal wear and tear on hardware.

4.3 Refund Processing

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing times are typically 5–7 business days for credit/debit cards, though your bank's processing times may vary.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact our support team with your booking reference number and a description of the issue:

We will acknowledge your request within one business day and aim to resolve all refund matters within five business days.

6. Disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We are committed to resolving billing issues quickly and amicably. Chargebacks that RKNova disputes and wins may result in a permanent ban on future bookings.
